During World Travel Market 2022 in London, Discover Dominica Authority’s UK representative, Brighter Group/ Finn Partners met with freelance travel writer Qin Xie. Qin, who specializes in food, wine and travel visited Dominica on a cruise in December, 2022. She writes for several national titles including The Sun and Sunday Times. Qin had a full day stop in Dominica cruising with Seabourn Cruise and will be writing a piece for The Times Cruise Supplement which will be published in the first quarter of 2023.
Qin’s write up on her Dominica experience will highlight what to do in a day for cruise passengers, new hotels, and the return of cruises to the island. Her key activities included a circuit tour of Roseau, snorkelling at Champagne Reef and the famous Roseau Valley tour including Titou Gorge, Trafalgar Falls, Freshwater Lake and the Wotten Waven Sulphur Springs. This was a good opportunity to showcase Dominica and be included within the cruise supplement at a time when consumers are planning their cruise trips for 2023.
