Dominica Hosts the First Match of the Agarbathi Test Series

The first match of the Cycle Pure Agarbathi Test Series got underway in Dominica on July 12, 2023. The test cricket series will see the West Indies take on India at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium in Roseau, Dominica.

The test series is the first fixture for both West Indies and India in the new 2023-2025 ICC World Test Championship. The first match began Wednesday, July 12th, at 10 AM and is expected to continue until Sunday, July 16th.

The host island is excited for the opportunity to host the series and to have the talented, local sensation Alick Athanaze named as part of the West Indies squad. On Day 1, Athanaze scored an impressive 47 runs on home soil and had the Windsor Park Sports Stadium awash with sounds of
jubilation.

As the series continues, patrons can expect to be treated to a festive cricket experience during the matches.
