The Tamarind Tree Hotel & Restaurant/Bungalows is pleased to inform the public and clients that it has reopened effective 15th January 2018.
Four months after Hurricane Maria, we have repainted, restructured and rebuilt with the help of our team of hard working staff members. They have ensured that our rooms, bungalows, restaurant and property are ready for business. All our rooms and bungalows are available to receive clients. Presently, the superior rooms are not equipped with air condition units due to unforeseen factors and we are offering reduced rates on these rooms.
The Tamarind Tree Restaurant is open to the public to serve dinner only until Saturday, 3rd February when it will reopen to offer full service.
We offer hotel tours/activities to some of the sites, which will increase as more sites becomes accessible. We also offer diving through our partner, the East Carib Dive Centre who has also rebuilt after the hurricane.
We have adopted Segment 11 in collaboration with the Forestry Division and the Waitukubuli National Trail Management Unit in an effort to help clear, restore and rehabilitate the only long-distance hiking trail in the Caribbean.
We thank all our partners, clients (past and future) who have helped, contributed or inquired about the hotel, its owners and staff after the passage of the Hurricane and we look forward to working with and serving you.
